MESSAGE

Mayu Kawamura

I would like to support and stay close to the growth of each student.
We are all different. Different body types, alignment types, muscle types, and of course mind.
Therefore, the way to teach and the risk of injuries are different.
In order to support each type of student, we as an instructor will never stop learning. With this in mind, we are facing each student.
In addition to that, I was born in Japan and grew up surrounded by Japanese culture. As it is now, I have lived in the U.S., surrounded by American culture. I have realized the “Good” of both cultures.
In ballet, it requires the skill of “Cooperativeness” for dancing together as a team, and the skill of “Uniqueness” for standing out in the group. The great Japanese culture of “Cooperativeness” and the great American culture of “Uniqueness”. By using both features, we would like to work together with everyone.
